I bought the one in the picture off leatherup.com for like $20. I thought I might be wasting my money at that price, but I was bowled over when I saw what came. It really is leather! It holds the rain gear you see me wearing and a can of chain lube, and the pockets are good for a camera, tire pressure gauge, 12 & 14 mm wrenches, and a stubby Philips head screwdriver. It has a zippered map window, but it is not square. I got so tired of folding my maps to squash them in there that I got a ring binder from Walmart for $1.59, cut it into 3 pieces, and velcroed the front to the top. Now I can slip maps in there fine. Just like the owner, it's tacky but functional. The bag also zips off, leaving just a map case on the tank for those who just want that. I always ride with gear, so that isn't an option I've used. I even sewed some parachute buckles on it so that I can use it on my PC800.
Unfortunately, I can't find any name on it at all, but check on leatherup if you haven't already. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
