I got it, and I like it because I can do that check with the carbs still on. I was just worried that I wouldn't be able to get tubes to stay on the drains on the bowls. They don't stick down so far past the screws that serve as valves, and their sides don't seem to be parallel. So if I stick a tube on, hold it up with my left hand and unscrew the screw with my right, I was thinking the tube would slip off and gas would dump. But what the heck, I'll give it a try. If I cut the tube the right length, I can hold it on and curl it up with one hand, maybe. I can also try that on my other bikes that don't have this problem (I have three V30s for the time being) and compare pretty easily. Thanks.
