Considering how my nighthawk 650's worked with batteries, I have great expectations for my new Scorpion Stinger SSTX12Q-FP (350CCA) lithium battery. It is slightly smaller and a lot lighter in weight. Took the battery overflow line off. Used some of the sticky sided foam spacers which were included for fit. Selected the proper two of the 4 posts available. Expensive ($100+), but I hope it will outlast 3-5 lead acids. No maintenance anticipated other than the trickle charger which was always needed with my nighthawks until I'm sure it's no longer needed. Will report back on state of charge details (for Kurt & others). I want instant starting, and it certainly does. Years ago I installed a headlight off switch so the headlight is off during starting. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
