I just did a circle around the subdivision for 15 minutes or so last Tuesday when we swapped. I wanted to make sure it ran since it was brought up on a trailer. Haven't been on it since. I can tell you that it doesn't make it any easier to get on and off the bike, that's for sure. The trade-off is that the paint on the right "saddlebag" is still nice, because umpteen boots have not been swung into it by riders getting off and not getting the right foot up high enough. This is not the case on the red one.
