You can check the alignment with florescent tubes (they're really really
straight). Hold one end against the back tire at two points and let it
extend towards the front. Since the back tire is wider than the front tire
there will be a gap between the tube and the sidewall of the front, measure
that gap on both sides. Or, get two tubes and a friend and measure both at
the same time.
