I recommend you not upgrade to a brighter bulb.  I wouldn't want to blind other 
drivers, and with a normal bulb, you can turn on your high beam when you need 
it.  If you have a brighter bulb, you can never dim it
I will sometimes turn on my high beam during the day if people seem to drive as 
though they can't see me, but having an extra bright headlight at night creates 
a hazard when you temporarily blind other drivers.
