There is a company called truck-lite that makes very good LED replacement lights
They have a wonderful low beam pattern with a sharp cut off line so as not to 
cause oncoming driver any glear
And if on a empty road the hi beam is great
Upside is they only pull about 2 amps witch is less then your stock unit
Downside price just under $200.00 on amazon and the back of the assy. Is deep 
it took a little work to put one in a 78 750
Cool factor is they look almost black when turned off

should always be to make sure it's properly adjusted. That should also be the 
last step any time you mess with it.

You can also get a fresh bulb of standard wattage levels. Lamps degrade with 
time and use, so a fresh lamp can be better than an old but not burned out 
light.

You can also upgrade your wiring to the light by adding relays and a direct 
connection to the battery. Use the stock wiring to control the relays and heavy 
gauge fresh wiring to feed the light from the batteries. This way you preserve 
your stock functionality but feed the light it's rated voltage and allow full 
current.

you sit on your motorcycle, so you'll want to position the headlight while 
you're sitting on the motorcycle, and then tighten it down after you find a
