Out of curiosity (not trying to hijack the thread here), but is it recommended
to rejet the carbs after doing the Hodge mod? I wanted to make my 750 a little
louder, but don't want to burn up my valves because of improper jetting.

The Hodge mod is a must then, unless you go for the jet kit. I have a jet kit
with a k&n air filter and the Mac exhaust. Your fuel economy will suffer
though. I get around 42 in the city. Highway? 36 to 40 depending on how you
ride. Of course the higher the rpm, the worse the mpg. I would start with the
hodge mod and see how you like it. This way you can keep everything stock. Even
with the stage 1 jet kit, you can keep the stock pipes.

Any better performance would help too... I live up at 9600 feet in Colorado so
the air is thin and reduces power a bit
