Welcome to the club Keith 👍 I'm doing much the same right now but mine runs. Had 14,500 Kms on it when i bought it and drive it 500 Kms home. Last bike I had was an '84 450 which I sold in 1992.
Once you get it running, change all the fluids, all the maintenance, etc. I have my carbs in the workbench right now cleaning them. Oil and filter has been changed and slowing getting to all the other fluids. New tires, and I plan on Reston modding this so I have the wheels at powder coat right now. Also just picked up a second exhaust as m mufflers were crap, but my headers are perfect. I'll make one good system out of the two and then get it ceramic coated.
