True. If you had asked this question a couple of months ago when I had both my 650 and 700 apart I could have tried to see if it would fit. I've got the 650 up for sale and ppl looking at it right now so I can't really take it apart. The petcock is in a different location but otherwise they're similar, I'm not sure about the length and tunnel width though, but with enough hammering... maybe? I don't know if those are any easier to find than 700 tanks though.
