I recently replaced the spark plugs, exhaust gaskets, rebuilt the clutch
slave, replaced the gear shifter cover gasket, gear shifter linkage seal,
oil pan gasket and the gear indicator seal. No leaks as of right now, but
the motor is having problems turning over after a short ride, due to the
engine being hot. I also noticed that the valve cover on the front, above
the headers is starting to leak and that the engine seems to be hotter. The
CB700 seems to be running better than it did before, but when I stop it
seems to be wanting to not turn over. My question is how does one know if
the exhaust gaskets are sealing properly? Is it just my two year mark on
the battery and time to replace it?
