85 CB650SC and almost to the end of its winter brake system rebuild. Did
both master cylinders, lines and right side caliper. Was in the reassembly
stage of the left caliper and after installing new seals i was about to
push the new pistons into the caliper when they dropped in right past the
seals. The new pistons are 30mm. The ones that came out of the caliper are
32mm. Immediately thought I ordered the wrong part but checked the fiche
and part numbers, year, model of bike and everything is correct. Does
anyone know if the correct size pistons on this bike are 32 or 30 mm? Its
possible a previous owner (there have been at least a couple) may have
installed a different caliper, but on only one side of the bike? Am I
missing something? Thanks!
