HI graham. Your cannister vent is connected to the air box and should have a vacuum on it when bike is running, thus pulling blow by out of crankcase. Make sure your tubes aren't blocked and make sure you change air filter if it is paper type. The condensate from crankcase will restrict air flow when collected in filter. Thought I had mine all cleaned out to find out a few months later that what little I didn't get out turned to condensation in my air filter. Ran like shit over 5k rpm.hope that was it and hope this helps. Darin. P.s. drain vent tube connected to that breather canister
