Hello,

I am currently using a D80, but I am waiting for the day FX becomes affordable; I have a range of lenses ranging from 20mm to 135mm (I sold my 180mm, since it was of little use).

DX has a "prologation/crop factor" of 1.6. This kills wide-angle (in favor of longer telephoto). "Normal lens" in DX is 35mm, compared to 50mm in the FX/135 format.

Over here, the cheapest FX body (the D700) is still more expensive than the 14mm/2.8 (AFD). So I guess, I'll go to get a 14mm lens, before I get a D700..

Robert
