I have encountered this bug recently after an update of my system (Manjaro). This is in fact an Electron bug and downgrading to previous version of Electron solved the issue.
The bug caused a warning when compiling from the VSCode terminal. Not a big problem. But, for some reason, maybe unrelated, the Nim plugin no longer worked. I didn’t investigate to find the real cause of the problem. After switching to the previous version of Electron, everything is back to normal, so that’s fine for me. Now, I’m still going to take a look at VSCodium.
