Going through the list there is a lot of "remove" in various forms. Some of the removes are literal. Some are in the form of make standard, i.e. remove options, for example make `/std` required. Some are in the form of replace (replace 'line noise', `%*`, `*`). Unify is an other one, replace differences, remove inconsistencies.
Seems there is a strong wish for tighter, cleaner, smaller, more consistent.
