The tech industry is a winner takes all system. The winner gets to dictate the standards and the losers are forced to follow unless you're exceptionally good. The Apple Macintosh lost but held on for its dear life because it was way better than the competition. The Macintosh may not have won, but it succeeded. Apple learned that excellence is key to its success. Today, Apple's iPhone division is bigger than all of Microsoft, and its headphone division is bigger than Sony! Apple didn't win, but its success is better than winning. Remember that Apple was nearly bankrupt in the 90s.
Excellence is also Nim's key to success. Good enough isn't good enough. It has to be superior to the competition. I'm merely pointing out problematic issues needing a solution, which in the grand scheme of things is easy to fix.
