Hi, I've been using Nisus Writer 6.0.3 under Mac Os 8.5.1 since 2 years on a PowerPC 7500/100, and had no problem about it. Recently, I upgraded my computer by adding more RAM, a new ATA-100 80 Go hard disk connected to a PCI Acard ATA-133 card, and Mac OS 9.0, then OS 9.1 and OS 9.2 eventually. I have experienced a weird catalog appearance since I upgraded to whichever OS 9.x versions: in the catalog window, the folders and documents icons are each strangely labelled with only one letter taken from the first item name of the list. For example, if the first folder listed in my catalog window is actually named "Documents", its name appears as D-, and the 8 following items (folders or documents) appear as o-, c-, u-, m-, e-, n-, t-, s-, etc... Also, selecting a file in the catalog window give unpredictable result. Worse, when I click into the catalog window, trying to select any folder or file, I eventually got a crash of Nisus with an "... unexpected quit with error 2..." message or something like. I tried trashing NW preferences, desktop rebuild, zapping PRAM, booting with all extensions disabled, navigation services disabled, change catalog fonts, with no better results. Tried also Nisus Writer 6.5 demo, same problem.
Any idea? Thanks!
