Greetings

Just recently it was reported that Drag & Drop was a problem with NW Express. Here is
another example.

So that I could have a small document to use as a base for testing macros and other
actions, I used text from an email list.

For the first attempt I selected the text and dragged it into a New NWEx window and
Saved it to Nisus Documents folder; it neatly covered two pages. When I re-opened it,
there were 42 pages with one character per line. The file could not be recovered as
far as I could see. The method was replicated with the same result.

This is a very nasty occurrence. I have had it happen before but not checked out the
cause. It has been reported to Nisus Software and the file sent.

Repeating the operation by selecting, copying and pasting the text and then Autosaving
it produced an exact two-page version on re-opening.

Hers is what I expected -

=== wanted good ===

Here is what came after re-opening - after the first line there is one character per
line.

+++ got faulty +++

Now here's a laugh - To give these examples in this email, I copied the three lines of
text *Subject:.... Paul* firstly from the *good* document and then from the *faulty*
one with one character per line.

However, when I pasted these three lines here, the results were identical; pasting
back into the Nisus Email document cancelled out whatever was affecting the NWEx
document when drag and dropt was used.

I'm more confused than ever. If only NWEx would display invisible characters.
