Rutie,
I see no responses yet--
You ARE talking about Nisus Classic version 5 or 6, right?
I sure hope I didn't scare off real help by answering part of the original! :-)

Perhaps a repost would be in order, or maybe this will suffice?
Or have you tried the dartmouth NisusLiist?
They are so bored they're debating wether or not sheep know their grandparents! :-)

Or is it too late to be of use at this point?

It would seem that the footnotes are really the problem, right?
Other wise, the two texts could be in separate documents?
Footnotes in the opposite text seems so unusual, it's hard to get the mind around it
wdithout some view of the objective.

It technically shouldn't make any difference _why_ you desire the footnotes on the
pages with the opposite text, but it seems most of us are much more stimulated to see
a resolution if we understood more deeply the objectives and reasons. I don't know
that I have any solution, but I'm at least curious why you'd want it this way-- Is it
a text and a translation in a different language? Or text B an analysis of text A,
or some such?

Are you planning to use the "facing pages" or "booklet" feature of Nisus for the
layout,

Hope this helps in some way,
Ben Andrus
