A few spelling errors already caught!! And there was another movie that I got that nobody recommended, but I saw it in the store and bought it on an impulse, and, well, perhaps there was a reason it was not recommended. :)
It is called Strings: Bound by Faith and it was filmed in Nasik during the Kumbh Mela. It is a fairly predictable romance that isn't that romantic to be honest, about a British guy and two Indian girls (one modern, one traditional, he falls for the traditional girl and all heck breaks loose, but the movie could be much more interesting and insightful than it is)...However, in defense of this movie the images of Nasik and that event (whatever it is, I never figured that out to be honest) are really quite striking. But the movie does not attempt to explain what is happening in Nasik, it's more of an interesting background for a less than interesting story. :) But, I'm still glad to have it, it's visually quite good at least... BTW, probably the most heavily recommended movie of all these was Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, which was great. I have seen it twice so far, and it's really quite dramatic and romantic and very funny (the piano scene is perhaps my favorite, if you have seen it...) Anyway, all the movies on my Have list have turned out to be good... Have: -------- Rang de Basanti Lage Raho Munnabhai Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge Dil Chahta Hai Roja Don't Have: ---------------- Omkara Iqbal Dor Hyderabad Blues Lagaan Munnabhai MBBS Raincoat Bombay Satya Ghatak Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander Vaastav Lak shya
