You may want to back up your .mozilla and .firefox directories before you
attempt this, as firefox3 will try to update any addons you're using.
Switching between firefox3 and firefox2 on a regular basis could be
problematic. Then again, I use debian, and have no idea about how ff3 was
compiled on a redhat system. There's a possibility they've changed the
.directory for ff3, but that seems doubtful.
Out of curiosity, why are you compelled to have firefox 2 installed
alongside firefox 3?
