What is it that FF3 does with bookmarks that you don't like?

The main thing I remember about switching to FF3 is that the
awesomebar does a much better job of remembering pages for me than I
ever did myself using bookmarks (YMMV).  I think the star is new too
(in case you don't know this--you can bookmark a page by clicking the
star; to see/edit bookmark details, double-click it).  I honestly
don't remember what else changed.
