FreeBSD is my first choice for a firewall, but as a web developer I don't really have much use for it otherwise. The ports are usually a little too out-dated for new development. Linux makes great application and database servers. You can't beat Debian for a server, and Ubuntu for a desktop. I try to steer clear of the RPM-based distros as much as possible. -- Greg Donald http://destiney.com/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NLUG" group.
