At a former job, my boss insisted that if Internet RFCs called for doing things one way, and Microsoft practice was to do things another way, that meant that the "industry standard" was to follow Microsoft's practice.

My contract supervisor asks me to top post and wants to know why my emails come up as text files. Insists on a vcard signature on emails because it looks "professional."
