Back in the day, I made it clear to recruiters that they could post but NLUG expected a commission of 10% or so. At the time $20-$30K/placement fee was normal. Nobody seemed interested then. Recruiters are typically moochers who are happy to spray paint their messages anywhere they think they can get an audience. But ultimately it's just vandalism.
