A lot of ATMs are windows. This is especially true for the diebold ones. In fact, in the "bad old days" the default passwords were printed in the manuals. There were many stories published referring to "hackers" causing the machines to spit out more than their available balance. No assembly/disassembly required. These manuals could be found online via a trivial google search.
