I have a friend who's putting together a computer for a local company.
He needs it in about a week, and has to be able to walk up somewhere and
plunk down a credit card locally to buy it.
He's looking for a Core i7, 8 GB or more RAM and a few TB of
enterprise-grade hard disks. Some kind of reasonable graphics card. A
rack mount enclosure is preferred.
I have no idea why he can't order it online, but he says he can't. I
know of no high performance computer companies around town, but I'm not
shopping for computers so I'd have no reason to know.
Can anyone offer a suggestion for my friend?
Thanks!
Curt
Okay, sorry for the blank response... Ugh.
When you say "plunk down a credit card...", does that include someone
buying a computer off the net and then accepting the credit card via PayPal?
If you are asking for a store where one can go buy a server off the rack
(pardon the pun) --- bwahahahahaha!
We all have sources from which we may order servers to specification
(part of why there are no places to buy a server off the shelf).
If I can be the intermediary to facilitate the purchase of a server,
have your friend email me privately.
