As I told Mr. Harkless, if this mail included nmh-workers, then
version 1.0.2 fixed the problem. Thanks.
On the topic I seemed to have started: Mangling e-mail addresses gets
to be a huge problem. That's why it's a good idea to use the
archiving capabilities of the e-mail list handler you're using. Then
the archive is accessible from subscribers only. I know listserv and
majordomo have archive mechanism, so I assume almost all have some
mechanism. If you want to redistribute an archive, then here's how
I'd do it: Subscribe my archiving mechanism, and have people
subscribe to that. It might be possible to figure out if a person
attempting to subscribe to the archive list are on the real list
(depends on how open it is), or you could only allow people that have
posted to the mailing list to access it (i.e. keep a list of who's
posted to the mailing list - yuk).
In anycase, I appreciate the quick response! I'll go back to lurking
(what I usually do on lists) until I have something meaningful to
comment on ;-)
