Savannah does provide a nightly tar ball of the CVS repository
that can be downloaded for backup purposes. I do this via cron
for the project I administrate.

Along with agreeing on the site to host nmh repository, we need
to decide on the following:

. Who shall have CVS write access to the repository?
. Who shall be the "release master"?
. Who shall be the project administrator?
. Shall the host for the mailing list change with the move?

Now, if there is agreement on Savannah, I am willing to start the
process of getting the project started on it unless someone, more
qualified, is up to it. One has to submit a request to add a new
project, but I see no reason for it not being approved. I recently
submitted a project and it got approved in a day. They are also
good about importing an existing CVS repository. I think the only
thing that the savannah folks really check for is the license used
for the project and I see nothing with nmh's license that would
be a problem.
