That isn't what I was saying Kevin.

When I look at the icon in the toolbar, of a bucket with a dashed
line, and then look at the buckets on the left of the app window, the
thought is...

When I get money, I fill a bucket until it is up to that line.

This is not how the application works.

Instead, I define measuring cups that pour an amount of water into
large vats.

Since most of the verbage in the application is water based (buckets,
flow) let's take this to a concrete example:

Here is how the application works:
My employer gives me a liter of water for payment.
I've set up large containers than never get full.
My groceries container has a label on the front that says,
every month, pour 100 ml into this container.

I take my 100 ml measuring cup, scoop it into the liter of water, and
dump the 100 ml cup into my groceries vat.

Here is how the language and icons communicate to me how the
application works:
My employeer gives me a liter of water for payment.

I have a groceries container that only holds 100 ml of water.
I take my liter of water, and pour it into the groceries container
until it is holding the 100 ml of water.
If there was already 50 ml of water in the container,
then I only pour 50 ml of water into the container.

Both of these are valid ways to fill the bucket.
I was hoping that Money Well did both. One is more suited to a saving
type of bucket.
And the other to a bucket that I don't want to spend any more than a
certain amount a month. If I spend less, then I have some left over
for other buckets.
