I get paid on the 15th and 31st. I set up my flows to reflect when I need money available and by priority. I typically consider the 31 pay as the money for the start and the 15 pay for the second half. Make sense?
So I start 1/1 with a couple of K in the account, press the allocate and everything works beautiful. I get to today, put in the paycheck, press allocate and only $4 are allocated. Thinking I did something wrong I delete all money flows and have a beautifully large number in my salary bucket (may that looked nice) and a awful lot of red in the bucket section, hit the allocate and presto, Back to the exact same numbers as before. This leads me to the conclusion that there is a magic number that is the middle of the month. I look at a calendar and figure that 15 is the middle (31/2 == 15.5) as most date rounding is down, not up. Am I wrong in this or is there something bigger that I have missed?
