Mike,

You can set it to however many days you need to get your money into  
next months buckets. Obviously this doesn't matter for the 15th  
paycheck but if the 31st fell on a Monday and that was a holiday you  
would need to set it to 4 days to push it into next month. And you  
only need to do this if you want to start paying bills that will  
appear as transactions next month. MoneyWell lets you get a head start  
on your future cash flow.
