But this is why you need to stop looking at your account balances if  
you are doing envelope budgeting. It doesn't matter if you have cash  
in the bank, only if you have cash in your buckets. Unless you let go  
of the "I'll check my bank balance to see if we can buy that"  
mentality, you won't be able to stick to a spending plan.

Correct. The expense buckets are for spending but you can have an  
income bucket that is for savings if you'd like but I like to just  
keep that balance in my savings accounts and pull it into an expense  
bucket when I'm ready to spend it. I don't spend directly from my  
accounts, it all has to go through my spending plan and my buckets or  
I'll screw it up.

This problem may be solved when wish list items appear in MoneyWell.  
I'll have to think about it some more. Thanks.
