I thought I understood that the total amount available in my accounts
(namely, all the money I could spend) should equal the total amount
available in all of my buckets (also, all the money I could spend). I
have been using the reconcile, spending plan, and allocate tools; and
every transaction that I have entered is attached to a bucket. I have
been using moneywell for about 13 months now; I'm pretty familiar with
its basic operation.

Somehow, though, the total amounts in the buckets no longer correspond
to the total amount in my accounts, which doesn't make any sense to
me. I looked through the forums and it seems that the ordinary
solution to that problem is making sure that every transaction is
matched to a bucket. In my case, though, that didn't solve the
problem.
