Chris,

If your transaction was directly from savings, then just assign that  
transaction to a bucket. It's the same as if you buy something with a  
credit card, you'd create a transaction in the credit card account or  
with cash, use the cash account.

Yes but let me make sure I understand this clearly. Did you just take  
cash out of savings and use that cash? If so, you can just click the  
"Cash Only" option on that withdrawal transaction and MoneyWell will  
transfer it to your cash account. Then you can spend the money out of  
there and assign it to a bucket for that expense.

To get that Savings cash back in the money flow, simply assign the  
deposit transaction of this transfer to your Savings bucket and then  
you can drag and drop the Savings bucket (even though it is an expense  
bucket) and fill other buckets for spending.
