It's funny to see how a best way to get appreciation for a good work is to step out of it.
I don't have a particular opinion about that piece of bikeshedding everyone were discussing, but yeah, it is a great loss to the community, and I would like to thank Ben for his work here for last couple of years.

But I have always been struck by his willingness to be helpful to one and all on mailing lists and the IRC who were trying to learn, use, and develop libuv.
