Yes, the cubs have gone to a seven SP rotation... I have not had any
realistic trade offers for any of them.

I came into the league late and found already loaded teams... It is
difficult to catch up when teams can hold

onto every single player and draft prospects for the future also. This is
why I am entirely in favor of a salary

cap. If you have never played with one, it is really fun, exciting,
interesting and you really must build your

teams on a yearly basis (instead of holding onto everyone you can get and
never letting go). Players increase

in salary every year until finally you HAVE to trade/cut them. fun!

I am participating in this league under its rules, I do not find them too
repressive, I try to follow the

rules (as best I can) and if they become too frustrating... well, the
delete league option is available...

I would also prefer waiting to draft until the new cards come out. I know
this caused loads of consternation

earlier this year, but if you desire a more competitive league...? Why
don't loaded teams throw the 'stinkers'

a bone once in awhile? (make less than an absolutely most favorable trade=
why not, you have the depth).

I am happy with the way things are, if you want to switch my team's
division with Scott's, that would be okay- I like beating Virginia! :)

AGAIN I have enclosed the rules which everyone told me they read before
joining. Yes the top 2 go to playoffs but how they finished is very much
different from yr to yr (just look at standing ref last yr). The standings are
determined by draft, trades, cuts and trades made after the draft. In the case
of the Cubs (just for ex) they have tons of starters and many teams have
inquired about them. Cubs decided to hold on to ALL of them even through they
were in 2nd place the 1st half of the season. Last yr VA was 2nd last yr and
this yr best team so far in league. Lastly every 3 yrs the divisions are
redone (this yr is the yr) but 90% of league would be upset being in my
division this yr but was only a couple games better than 3rd place team in my
division last yr .
