I have thought it over, and I think the best advice I could give is that you guys leaven the politics (and religion, which is a kind of politics, in't it?) with some less incendiary topics every now and then. Hard as it may be to contemplate at the moment, we have seen other topics discussed. Music is a topic that rears its ugly head every now and then. William Taylor had a small line going in porn-informed readings of proverbial Japanese. Mark would send in nerdy math problems, and get responses from the other smart people on the list. All was sweetness and light, and women started thinking of giving the list another try. Then Mark converted to Islam, and it's been trouble ever since. Mark, throw over this religion, I beseech you!
