Unfortunately most editors have troubles with opening large files - I've tried
many in my practice. If you need to open these files only for reading, try the
freeware Lister [http://www.ghisler.com/lister/]

I often need to make a list of all rows that the search pattern matches.
Please add a button "ALL" in the find menu that shows the list of all matches
in the current file, similar to the results of search in files (clickable list)

Check the X and/or Y positions in the config.xml file. Look for a line starting
with the following:
<GUIConfig name="AppPosition"
Using a different editor like regular Notepad, set x="0" and y="0" on that line,
then save the file. This will set the default Notepad++ window upper left
corner
to be the same as the screen.
Alternatively, you can click on the taskbar icon, select "Move", and attempt
to bring it back onto the screen by pressing the arrow keys. I don't recommend
this because you don't know where the window actually is -- unless you were
using multiple monitors and went back to a single monitor... --Joel
