When you view the file in IE, you see the HTML version, but when you edit it from the server directly, you see the PHP version. This is because IE (and other browsers) always ask for a HTML version of the file, but when you browse for the file on the server you ask for the original file, not the HTML version. this may help: http://www.peachpit.com/articles/article.aspx?p=22290&seqNum=4&rl=1 If ou do not have any HTML or PHP knowledge it get be very difficult to add your email address, I suggest you read some tutorials on the subject (start with HTML first and PHP later), but it short it comes to adding <A HREF="mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]">My email address</A> somewhere to the source php file. If oyu need to edit the fie, downlaod index.php from the server, edit it in notepad++ and reuplaod the edited file to the server. The changes should be seen immediatly ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I told you N++ is fully configurable. So there is a way to make it meed your NEEDS. Instead of considering doing a little effort to solve what you experience as a problem, you just keep shouting that the developer should do this for you. You think that is fair? If that's your way of acting and thinking, then I suggest your write your further messages in a very short, plain style. Just tell us what we should do in your opinion. Then we can simply answer to them "we won't" or maybe even "we will" sometimes. At least you won't have to keep crying like a little baby again and again then, because the answer will be there right away. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. If you want two words to be swapped, it should be clear to whatever will be doing that, which two words those are. So you could think about the word the cursor is at and the word after that, or before that. Which of these two, or whatever two words when the cursor isn't at any word at all? I tried to compose a macro that could do the trick, but didn't succeed. The macro didn't record all actions I performed. It seems that the word selecting won't be repeated, so the clipboard's contents won't be changed. This way, it seems to me, it is not possible to do word swapping using a macro. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Configuration allows new files to be UTF-8, but if you edit a existing file which has no extended characters, it will start as ANSI, and after that, if you type any extended char, you MUST remember to manually switch codification. Should be very easy to add another option in configuration to add UTF-8 as default instead of ANSI... and it might be very useful for many of us. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Configuration allows new files to be UTF-8, and if you edit a UTF-8 file, it works perfectly. But if you edit a existing file which has no extended characters, it will start as ANSI, and after that, if you type any extended char, you MUST remember to manually switch codification. It should be very easy to add another option in configuration to allow UTF-8 as default instead of ANSI... and it might be very useful for many of us. (No need to say that Notepad++ is a great tool, with only two lacks for my daily use: UTF-8 as standard and HTML-coloured export, as SciTe and PsPad do). Keep up the good work! (and merry xmas ;-) ) ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. It's because I'm used to websites keeping me logged in [for the most part]. So, I would have to make a new bug report. Also, I have had problems attaching files on some trackers. I know on Scintilla the limit is like 300,000 bytes for a file which isn't much! Did you watch the video? ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Specifically, my development environment is ARMbasic. ARMbasic makes use of FUNCTION and SUB for function and subs. The terminating statement can either be END FUNCTION, ENDFUNCTION, END SUB, ENDSUB. The issue is with the first and third Folder Close Keywords. I am finding that if the Folder Close Keyword contains the Folder Open Keyword, then the folding functionality gets confused. Is there a work around, as the developer has chosen to use the END[space]... syntax, in all of the library files. Please review and advise, as I REALLY don't want to go changing the developers libraries just to make the editor function as I desire. Thanks, in advance.
