Would it be possible to also include color mark-up by the Compare Plug-In?

I want to record a Macro that will extract information from an XML file.
There's
relatively little information I want out. In order to do this, I search for
the end of the first tag that I want, and then I need to delete the text up
to the start of the next tag that I want.

How do I do this in a Macro, please?

I (think I) either need a "Select to next instance" type find, or a "Delete
to next instance", or something like that, but I don't see how to do this.
Could someone help me, please?

(I apologise if this is already covered somewhere, but I've not been able to
find it.)

Thanks,
T

Look for Simple Script Plug-In messages regarding similar problems and
the solution.

When right click>edit with notepad++, vista gives arning that unidentified
program
wants access. Also, I had to manually set notepad++ as default program to open
text and java script files. Otherwise error comes up.

Looks like needs better integration with vista. I know UAC in vista will ask
for permission, but it should not detect it as unidentified program. Also after
install, vista warning comes up , program may not be installed correctly. I
had to manually click it installed correctly.

Hope you guys do something for smoother vista user experience other than known
UAC warning.

A search for "DeleteBetweenTags" will find 3 earlier matches, two of which are
written by the Simple Script Plug-In creator fidvo himself, in this thread:

Nope, RTF and HTML cannot render that.
(well HTML maybe but it would have to get extremely advanced, i,m not that good
with html).

>From ExamDiff Pro's exported HTML Diff Report I know it is possible to also

I use pieces of these reports in email, which I can only paste there after
copying
them from Word after copying and pasting from HTML...

I LOVE Notepad++ and use it for all my plaintext editing needs, especially with
the recently-discovered column-select mode (is that a new feature, or did I
just miss it?)

Now there's only one missing feature I'd like to see -- full text justification.
Back in '04 Don indicated
(http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=2826897)
he wasn't interested in implementing this. Is there a plug-in that'll do this
(TextFX doesn't seem to have it)? No, I'm no programmer, so I doubt I could
develop my own.

Am I the only one left on the planet who still thinks fully justified text looks
more profesional?

CJ

I just select the text to indent or unindent, then carefully use the dropdown
Edit menu to select the function. Works for me. Tab key seems too buggy.

Fully justified text isn't professional - even in Rich Text editors like Word.
In fact, publication standards like MLA specifically says "Do not justify the
lines of your paper at the right margin".

That doesn't mean justification doesn't have it's uses, but it makes no sense
for a plain-text editor. Just use Word or OpenOffice if you want to justify
text.
