If 1.78 implements the feature , then the next major release of NP++ may address the issue, which is mainly Scintilla's. So can you please help me, how to use the Notepad++ to convert/translate an xml bunch of letters to a regular text or normal view!? Thankyou and God bless! ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. NP++ always saves the cursor positions in the re-opened documents, but I would prefer to have the cursor placed always at the beginning of the documents. So could it be possible to add an option named e.g. 'also save cursor position in session'? This could be enabled by default, so the default behaviour won't change until I disable this option. This is the only little option I miss in this otherwise prefect and highly configurable editor. When I try to re-install it from the plug-ins page I get the message: This ANSI Plugin is not compatible with your Unicode Notepad++ This Plugin is not compatible with current version of Notepad++ Does anyone know what is going on and why I cant load this plugin please? ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. First of all, please check whether you have ANSI TextFX with N++ ANSI, or Unicode N++ with Unicode TextFX. If so, the workaround I have found is to rename each dlll whose deletion you are prompted for. Thenn proceed. When installer suggests to launch N++ for you rename the dll's back beore saying yes. On lmmy systems, I have 5 plugins which are threatened by every installer, and work fine. I have reported this in the forums, but nothing has been moving. The number of plugins I have to process has crept up. If not there, enable it first from Settings -> Preferences -> Language Menu. If the issue is different, then could ou post a small sample of source XML and desired conversion? That will help us to provide a solution. CChris ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. For individual files, this may or may not be desirable. For folders, I doubt it ever is. An obvious workaround is to create two shortcuts, one that will launch N++ with the -nosessions switch and one without it. I wouldn't call this convenient. Instead, could it be that, for instance, dropping means open according to current session settings, Shift+drop = always include session if any, and Ctrl+drop = total control: only open those files I'm dragging? I need some help in doing this. Thanks Ash ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
