I have 4.5.3 version and sometimes when i change tabs with CTRL + TAB, it`s
just freeze.

Hi,
Since installing new notepad++ on windows xp I get a green colored stripe on
the left of each line I change.
Does anyone know where I can change this preference?

I'm pretty sure it's held within the nppIfacelib source
at git://github.com/almostautomated/nppifacelib_mob.git
You can also download the source from

Hi :)
When I changed the syntax highlighting to one of the user defined language I
created, Notepad++ crashes.
It only happened to user defined languages.
I tried running with -noPlugin but it does not change anything.
Help anyone?

Personally I vote for ideaTorrent to be used for that purpose. When the
'categories'
have been added to ideaTorrent (overlapping with the categories used in the
wiki) then developers looking for something to do that has the most impact on
the community could look at the Plugin category and see which has the most
votes...

Yep, Dave got it right. If you would like to make some changes that will make
it back into the main plugin please use git.
Using the github repo for nppifacelib will allow you to easily fork the project,
and when you push your changes you will not need to submit a patch. It can
be pulled directly from your forked repo.
BTW - what improvements do you have in mind?
I only know of two issues so far, both stemming from the same cause and solvable
by a single change. The issue being reported by fabio regarding the Compare
plugin leaving behind change indicators isn't really a bug at all, as described
in the response on that thread (to be posted shortly).

Thanks for the screenshots, what you are seeing is not really a bug so much
as a missing feature. That feature would be the ability of an external plugin
being able to call for the clearing of change indicator markers. The reason
this was not included is because while developing the plugin I didn't take the
time to figure out when an external plugin should be able to clear results,
and to which point it should be able to go back to.
Instead, I opted for user control of this. Simply select the tab for the
document
in question, and in the Change Markers menu select disable for this document.
Which will clear the markers; then if you want it back simply re-enable it.
Perhaps a user selectable 'Allow external control' would be the answer for
clearing
all markers for the doc...

c/ Use the "Developer comment" area to communicate with admins (gr3gw and I).
4/ There is a possibility to define tags for future release, and to associate
an idea with such a planned release. (admins only)
Amend from ' gr3gw and I ' to the Moderators and Dev team.
Moderators in this case consisting of those who know the documentation inside
and out, and also know when an idea is something already covered by an existing
method/plugin.
The Dev team in this case would be those would would have something in
implementation, set a milestone/release category and such.
Not to say there isn't an overlap. This is a direct way to discuss both the
idea/solution, the technical implementation, and the roadmap yet as you say,
it is primarily so devs can select something to work on that the users want.
3/ More voters are needed to assess how popular an idea is and how much its
implementation should be prioritised
YES!! We need more usage of the ideaTorrent. As you mentioned the usage will
likely go up when phpBB goes live. Also, adding a link from the N++ home page
and the wiki homepage would surely increase user activity.
