Keith Turner commented on ACCUMULO-1385:
----------------------------------------
bq. An example of an RPM that does add its own modular config to /etc/sysctl.d
I did not even notice "/etc/sysctl.d/accumulo" in the summary. Putting it in
/etc/sysctl.d resolves my concerns.
Following this line of thought, should we up nproc and nofile in
/etc/security/limits.d? It seems like adjustments to open file limits would
need to apply to HDFS users more than the accumulo user, so that may be tricky.
> RPM/DEB should set vm.swappiness in /etc/sysctl.d/accumulo
