[~kturner] I think that we might expect to see one or two questions about how
to configure it on the mailing list. However, I like the encapsulation of
putting everything in one file rather than spreading them out. It has a much
nicer plugin feel to it that way.
[~ctubbsii] [~kturner] Regarding back-porting, my thought is that the isolated
decision on back-porting this particular feature. That decision could be made
based on a standard risk/reward evaluation. My assessment was that the
modularity of this feature makes the risk negligible, and the reward is
significant because somebody wants to use this. I will take responsibility for
the maintenance tail that comes with the backport of this feature.
