Thanks for the guidance. I¹ve rebased against master and working through
merge issues from the first PR and style corrections from this merge at
the moment. Getting real close to creating a new PR that you can review
for the topics below. Thanks a ton for the help. I¹ll let you know how
the PR merge and compilation goes.
OpTimer was a real trick, but I think I have a solution to offer that is
both backward compatible and a step in the right direction for the
refactor to slf4j. Let me know what you think.
