Proposed patch 2

New version of the patch. Changes (relative to last patch):
 - Added Main.getShortAntVersion()
 - User-agent is not being added to the header

I opted not to use the ant.version, since this requires a project scope. If you
feel strongly about this, then I will need to modify more code to create a
'ant.short.version' value.

Please let me know what other tweaks may need to be done.
