----------------------------------------------------------- From: melz Message 5 in Discussion Hi senthil, Its actually difficult to look at Panels and Iframes as alternatives. Iframes point to different pages which can have dynamic content. Panels which are rendered as in HTML are a good choice for containing other controls and for formatting. Since the content of a Iframe is another page ... it would be more difficult to control is programatically. Panels + some DHTML can give you lots of rich features(depends on what you are looking) If you are looking at splitting your page into different parts I suggest that you use the panels. You can hide/display the contents using client scripts and give the users an intuiative interface.( i guess you are trying to make something like a tabbed interface) regs, Mels ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
