   ### Apache NetBeans version

   Apache NetBeans 25

   ### What happened

If you have a version of Netbeans installed, installing a new one just
silently replace the current one, no warning whatsoever. Even if you have
previously re-named your current version, `Apache NetBeans` to `Netbeans 19`
for instance.
Worse, when I installed NetBeans 25 after renaming my current version to
`Netbeans 19`, the installer installed NetBeans 25 over the `Netbeans 19` and
kept that name... So it looked like the installation did not do anything but it
actually did override my version 19 with version 25 but my application is still
called `Netbeans 19`.

   ### Language / Project Type / NetBeans Component

   _No response_

   ### How to reproduce

   - install any Apache NetBeans version (I tried with version 19 to 25)
   - install another version of Apache NetBeans (19 to 25)

Only the latest version is kept.
I used to be able to have multiple version of NetBeans installed.

   ### Did this work correctly in an earlier version?

   Apache NetBeans 21 or earlier

   ### Operating System

   MacOS 15.4

   ### JDK

   bundled with the installer

   ### Apache NetBeans packaging

   Apache NetBeans provided installer

   ### Anything else

   _No response_

   ### Are you willing to submit a pull request?

   Yes
